Designed to help promote household safety, the First Alert Hardwired Smoke Alarm with Battery Backup can provide early warning of fire.

This hardwired smoke detector uses an ionization smoke sensor to reliably detect smoke from hot, fast-flaming fires.

  • Can connect to other compatible BRK or First Alert CO smoke detectors

  • Side-load battery compartment for convenience

  • Intelligent Ionization Sensing Technology

  • 9 volt battery back-up - EZ Access battery door

  • Two Latching features - Alarm latch and Low Battery latch

  • Two Silence Features - Silence low battery chirp for up to eight hours or, temporarily silence nuisance alarm conditions
